Sublimation vs screen printing for koozies.
Custom koozies are printed one of two ways: dye sublimation, which prints full color edge to edge on white foam, or screen printing, which lays down one to a few spot colors, usually on a colored koozie. The right choice depends on your design.

Frequently asked questions
Is sublimation or screen printing better for koozies?
Sublimation is better for full-color designs, photos and edge-to-edge backgrounds, with no screen fees. Screen printing suits simple one or two color logos, especially white ink on a dark koozie.
Does sublimation have setup fees?
No. Sublimation prints every color in one pass, so there are no screens and no per-color setup fees.
Can you sublimate a black koozie?
Sublimation needs a white base, so the koozie itself is white. Choose a black background and it fills the whole face, which looks like a black koozie.
