See my priceHow to measure for the right label size
- Flat panels and boxes: measure the flat face, then subtract about 1/8″ on each side so the label sits clear of edges and seams.
- Bottles and jars: measure the straight part of the container’s height, not the shoulder or the base. For a wrap label, measure the circumference with a strip of paper and leave a gap of about 1/4″ to 1/2″ so the ends do not overlap.
- Lids and tops: measure the flat area inside the rim. A circle label slightly smaller than the lid looks cleaner than one that runs to the edge.
- Curved or tapered containers: keep the label within the area that is straight, or ask us about a custom shape that follows the taper.
Not sure? Print your artwork at actual size on paper, cut it out and tape it to your product. It is the fastest way to catch a size problem before you order.
Choose your shape
Pick a rectangle, rounded rectangle, square, circle or oval at no extra cost, or a custom die-cut shape that follows the outline of your artwork. A custom shape is priced by its width and height at the widest points, the same way major label printers price it, and costs nothing extra: no die charge, on your first order or any reorder.

Rolls, sheets or stickers for your size
Roll labels suit any size and are the right choice if a machine applies them: every roll comes on a standard 3″ core, wound in the direction your applicator needs. Sheet labels fit as many labels as the sheet allows, and the order page shows the count per sheet as you change the size. Die-cut stickers are cut one by one, which makes them ideal for seals and giveaways. Our comparison of roll labels, sheet labels and stickers covers the trade-offs.
Smaller or larger than 0.5″ to 12″?
Order it anyway. Anything outside the instant-pricing range goes to our team, who confirm the price and send you a proof. You can also email orders@twopackaging.com with your container and we will recommend a size.
